. <br /> • <br /> y. • • <br /> _ • <br /> • • • . .• <br /> • <br /> 1 constitute an unlawful act and violation of this ordinance both by the person holding the <br /> 2 valid parking permit and the person who so uses or displays the permit on a motor <br /> 3 vehicle other than that for which it is issued; <br /> 4 (2) It shall be unlawful and a violation of this ordinance for a person to copy, <br /> 5 produce or otherwise bring into existence a facsimile or counterfeit parking permit or <br /> 6 permits without written authorization from the Chief of Police. It shall further be <br /> 7 unlawful and a violation of this ordinance for a person to knowingly use or display a <br /> 8 facsimile or counterfeit parking permit in order to evade time limitations on parking <br /> 9 applicable in a residential permit parking area. <br /> 10 (3) The offenses defined herein this ordinance shall be Class B offenses as <br /> 11 defined in Chapter 10 of the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> 12 Section 18: Severability. <br /> 13 The provisions of this ordinance are severable and if any provision, clause, <br /> 14 sentence, subsection, section, word or part thereof is held illegal, invalid or <br /> 15 unconstitutional, or inapplicable to any person or circumstance, such illegality, <br /> 16 invalidity or unconstitutionality, or inapplicability shall not affect or impair any of the <br /> 17 remaining provisions, clauses, sentences, subsections, sections, words or parts of the <br /> 18 ordinance or their application to other persons or circumstances.
