. • y. • • _ • • • • . .• • 1 constitute an unlawful act and violation of this ordinance both by the person holding the 2 valid parking permit and the person who so uses or displays the permit on a motor 3 vehicle other than that for which it is issued; 4 (2) It shall be unlawful and a violation of this ordinance for a person to copy, 5 produce or otherwise bring into existence a facsimile or counterfeit parking permit or 6 permits without written authorization from the Chief of Police. It shall further be 7 unlawful and a violation of this ordinance for a person to knowingly use or display a 8 facsimile or counterfeit parking permit in order to evade time limitations on parking 9 applicable in a residential permit parking area. 10 (3) The offenses defined herein this ordinance shall be Class B offenses as 11 defined in Chapter 10 of the Everett Municipal Code. 12 Section 18: Severability. 13 The provisions of this ordinance are severable and if any provision, clause, 14 sentence, subsection, section, word or part thereof is held illegal, invalid or 15 unconstitutional, or inapplicable to any person or circumstance, such illegality, 16 invalidity or unconstitutionality, or inapplicability shall not affect or impair any of the 17 remaining provisions, clauses, sentences, subsections, sections, words or parts of the 18 ordinance or their application to other persons or circumstances.
