. ORDINANCE NO. 541-78 AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 16 . 44, Everett Municipal Code, establishing Fire Zones in the City of Everett and repealing Ordinance Nos. 3532 and 4050. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: Section 1: That Chapter 16.44 of the Everett Municipal Code be and is hereby amended and updated by the repeal of Ordinance Nos. 4050 and 3532. Section 2: That the entire City of Everett is hereby declared to be and is hereby established a Fire District and said Fire District shall be known and desig- nated as Fire Zone No. 1, Fire Zone No. 2 and Fire Zone No. 3. Section 3: The Land Use Zone within the City of Everett, to wit B-3, Central Business, is hereby declared to be Fire Zone No. 1. Section 4: All Land Use Zones within the City of Everett, to wit R-4, Multiple Family High Density Resi- dential; B-1, Neighborhood Shopping; B-2, Com- munity Shopping; C-1, General Commercial and R-5, Core Area Residential are hereby declared to be Fire Zone No. 2. Section 5 : All other Land Use Zones are hereby declared Fire Zone No. 3. Section 6 : That if any section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance be held to be invalid or unconstitutional, the invalidity or unconstitu- tionality of any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance, the same shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. i / Mayor ATTEST: ity Clerk £I PU !
