• ORDINANCE NO. 5-O if <br /> An Ordinance amending the Zoning Map of the <br /> City of Everett, as provided by Everett <br /> Municipal Code, Title 19 (Ordinance 3562) <br /> WHEREAS, on March 21, 1978, the Planning Commission held a public <br /> hearing regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property from M-1, <br /> Heavy Manufacturing to R-3, Multiple-Family Low-Density Residential. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of Everett, after hearing the recommendations <br /> of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined that said <br /> property should be rezoned and zoned R-3, Multiple-Family Low-Density Residentia . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE the City of Everett does ordain; <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby find <br /> that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is in the best <br /> interest of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by <br /> Everett Municipal Code Title 19 (Ordinance 3562, Section 4, <br /> as amended) is hereby amended as follows: <br /> That portion of the SE4 of the NW4 of Section 12, Township <br /> 28 North, Range 4 East, W.M. , described as follows: <br /> Commencing at the northeast corner of said SE4 of the NW4; <br /> thence N 89°31'37" W 700 feet, more or less, to the southerl <br /> margin of the existing Haul Road, the True Point of Beginnin: ; <br /> thence southwesterly along said road margin 680 feet, more <br /> or less, to the West line of said SE4 of the NW4; thence <br /> N 0032'27" W 370 feet, more or less, to the Northwest <br /> corner thereof; thence S 89°31'37" E 630 feet, more or <br /> less, to the True Point of Beginning. <br /> Section 3: That the official map shall, upon the passage of this <br /> Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove <br /> provided, and henceforth said property shall be used in <br /> accordance with the zone in which the same is now established, <br /> as provided by Everett Municipal Code (Ordinance No. 3562) <br /> as amended. <br /> Section 4: The City Clerk is hereby instructed to file the duly certified <br /> copy of this Ordinance with the County Auditor of Snohomish <br /> County, Washington. <br /> APPROVED: DATE: <br /> ATTEST: CITY OF EVERETT <br /> City Clerk Mayor <br /> PASSED: 4./ - ( Y - 77 <br /> VALID: 4 - / 7 --7f <br /> PUBLISHED: Li -- 0 <br />
