[.i 4 7 7 AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 697 for the improvement of 8th Avenue West (Solberg Lane) from Casino Road Southerly to its terminus by the installation of an 8-inch sanitary sewer system and doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith 1 to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 421-76 of the City of Everett, levying an assessment on account 2 thereof against the several lots, tracts, and parcels of land or other property as shown on said roll, and providing for the sale of bonds or 3 installment notes; and amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 421-76. 4 5 WHEREAS, the assessment roll levying the special assessments against properties 6 located in Local Improvement District No. 697 in the City of Everett, Washington, 7 created under Ordinance No. 421-76 has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of 8 Everett, Washington, as provided by law; and 9 WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of hearing thereon and of making 10 objections and protests to said roll was duly published at and for the time and in the 11 manner provided by law and further notice thereof was duly mailed by the City Clerk to 12 each property owner shown on said roll; and 13 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed and designated in said notice, the hearing 14 was duly held and no written protests were received and all questions concerning said 15 roll being resolved at said hearing, and the City Council being fully advised in the 16 premises; and 17 WHEREAS, a "scribner's error" was inadvertently made in the drafting of Section 18 4 of Ordinance No. 421-76. 19 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 20 Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement 21 District No. 697 for the improvement of: 8th Avenue West (Solberg Lane) from Casino 22 Road Southerly to its terminus, by the installation of an 8-inch sanitary sewer system 23 and doing all such other work necessary in connection therewith all in accordance with 24 Ordinance No. 421-76 of the City of Everett as same now stands, be, and the same is 25 hereby in all things approved and confirmed. 26 Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts, and parcels of land as shown by said 27 roll is hereby declared to be expecially benefited by said improvement in at least the 28 amount charged against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assessment against 29 said lot, tract, and parcel of land or other property appearing on said roll, in the amount 30 finally charged against the same. 31 32
