Section 115 Destruction or Failure to Return Library Materials <br /> (1) It shall be unlawful to intentionally injure, deface , cut or mark, or <br /> destroy any property belonging in or on deposit with the Everett Public Library , <br /> or any branch , reading room, deposit station, museum, or institution operated <br /> in connection therewith. <br /> (2) It shall be unlawful to retain any book, newspaper, magazine, pam- <br /> phlet, document, record , film, print, manuscript, or other property belonging <br /> to or in, or on deposit with , the Everett Public Library , or any branch, reading <br /> room, deposit station, museum, or institution operated in connection therewith, <br /> for a period exceeding thirty (30) days after the mailing by certified mail to the <br /> borrower's address on file with said library of a notice in writing to return the <br /> same. Such notice shall be given after the expiration of time which , by the rules <br /> of the Everett Public Library , such article or other property may be kept; such <br /> notice so mailed shall bear on its face a copy of this section. <br /> It shall be the responsibility of the person to whom a library card was <br /> issued whenever that card is used to check out any item from the library; pro- <br /> vided, however, such person is relieved from further responsibility, upon <br /> notification to the Everett Public Library that the library card has been lost, <br /> misplaced or otherwise unaccountable. It shall be the duty of any person to whom <br /> a library card is issued to notify the Everett Public Library of any change of <br /> address. <br /> (3) It shall be unlawful to take from the Everett Public Library , or any <br /> branch, reading room, deposit station, museum, or institution operated in con- <br /> nection therewith , any property belonging therein or thereto, without the per- <br /> mission of the librarian or an assistant, or by making use of a borrower's card <br />
