ORDINANCE NO. 1716,, --- 77 <br /> AN ORDINANCE supplementing appropriations of the <br /> budget for the City of Everett for 1977; and amend- <br /> ing Ordinance No. 425-76 , as amended by Ordinance <br /> Nos . 438-77 , 443-77 , 449-77 , and 453-77 , and declar- <br /> ing an emergency to exist. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has now appropriated certain local , <br /> State, and Federal funds to augment previously approved programs <br /> with the 1977 budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the source and application of funds have been identified; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain that the follow- <br /> ing amendments shall be made to the 1977 budget : <br /> Section 1 : That the sum of $14 , 550. 00 be appropriated in the <br /> following manner: <br /> a. Appropriation, Fund 110, Library <br /> (1) Program 404 - Information Resources and Facilities <br /> Original Appropriation, Ord. 425-76 $555, 000. 00 <br /> Amended by this appropriation, <br /> increasing 1977 budget 14 , 550 . 00 <br /> New Program Total $569 , 550 . 00 <br /> b. Source of Funds <br /> (1) Fund 110 - Library <br /> "Net Loan Grant" from Washington <br /> State Library $ 4 , 500 . 00 <br /> Donation from Women' s Book Club 650. 00 <br /> "Library Use Fees" increase from <br /> Sno-Isle Regional Library 8 , 400. 00 <br /> Book sale, October 7 & 8 , anticipated <br /> revenue 1, 000 . 00 <br /> $ 14 , 550. 00 <br /> c. Purpose <br /> To appropriate money received from the additional <br /> revenue to enhance library services to the community. <br />
