ORDINANCE NO. 4/41, 7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 4022, <br /> Section 2, more particularly described as <br /> 16. 56 . 020 of the Everett Municipal Code <br /> to provide for the use of barbed wire fences <br /> to enclose a minimum land of 22 , 000 square <br /> feet where such land is solely devoted to <br /> the pasturing and/or sheltering of animals <br /> permitted by ordinance. <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section 1 : That Ordinance No. 4022 , Section 2 , more particu- <br /> larly described as 16. 56 . 020 of the Everett Municipal Code <br /> which reads as follows : <br /> Barbed wire fences . <br /> No person shall erect or maintain any fence, within the <br /> city limits of Everett, that is composed of , or has any <br /> part of, constructed of barbed wire unless such fence is <br /> located within an area zoned A-1 Agricultural Use Zone <br /> as set forth in the zoning code of the city of Everett, <br /> or unless such barbed wire is placed above a woven wire <br /> or solid wooden fence, said fence to be of a minimum <br /> height of six feet, for the purposes of providing an <br /> impenetrable barrier for use around industrial properties , <br /> athletic fields, airports , electric substations , storage <br /> yards , etc. <br /> Be in the same is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Barbed wire fences. <br /> No person shall erect or maintain any fence, within the <br /> city limits of Everett, that is composed of , or has any <br /> part of , constructed of barbed wire unless such fence <br /> is located within an area zoned A-1 Agricultural Use <br /> Zone as set forth in the zoning code of the city of <br /> Everett, or unless such barbed wire is placed above <br /> a woven wire or solid wooden fence, said fence to be <br /> of a minimum height of six feet, for the purposes of <br />
