• r •• • • • Section 2: Authorization is given to provide for construction of improvements to North Broadway between California Street and 7th Street, which will result in a two-way left turn lane throughout the project, widening of the street!S curb to curb width to provide on street parking on both sides of the street with new sidewalks adjacent, new bus shelter areas, water line replacement, street lighting, special design features, identification signing, and other minor items of work as may be necessary to implement these improvements. Section 3: The total estimated cost of the improvements herein authorized is $860,000 which shall include all cost of the design, plan and specification preparation, construction and associated costs. Section 4: The City Engineer of the City of Everett under the administration of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of providing for the construction of the improvements as defined herein. Section 5: The sum of $860,000 be appropriated for the purposes herein specified in the following manner: a. Fund 314 - NORTH BROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS 1. Program 603 - NORTH BROADWAY IMPROVEMENT 860,000 b. SOURCE OF FUNDS Community Development Reserve Fund (Fund 150) 760,000 Water Fund (Fund 410) 100,000 " TOTAL 860,000 c. This appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned, without necessity of reappropriation, as per R.C.W. 35.33.151.
