ORDINANCE NO. 41411- -77 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 406-76 to <br /> amend certain provisions of the ordinance im- <br /> plementing the State Environmental Policy Act <br /> by changing the Environmental Review Committee <br /> authority and repealing Section 7 of Ordinance <br /> No. 406-76. <br /> Section 1: Section 3-B of Ordinance No. 406-76 which reads as follows : <br /> B. "Environmental Review Committee" means the Committee of the <br /> City of Everett whose responsibility is to oversee environmental <br /> considerations of the City and to hear appeals of determinations <br /> made by the responsible official and initiated by members of the <br /> public. <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> B. "Environmental Review Committee" means a committee of the <br /> City of Everett whose responsibility is to oversee environ- <br /> mental considerations of the City and to hear appeals of <br /> determinations made by the responsible official and initiated <br /> by members of the public or the City and make recommendations <br /> to the Everett City Council. <br /> Section 2: Section 7 of Ordinance No. 406-76 which reads as follows: <br /> Section 7: Environmentally Sensitive Areas of the City <br /> A. The City Council may identify environmentally sensitive areas <br /> in the City which shall be illustrated on a map of the City <br /> which shall be filed with the Office of the City Clerk. A <br /> copy of such map shall be maintained in the SEPA Public In- <br /> formation Center. <br /> B. When identified, environmentally sensitive areas shall include <br /> those areas within the City in which the taking of the following <br /> minor actions could have a significant adverse environmental <br /> impact, including, but not limited to steep slopes (over 257) , <br /> unusual or unique flora or fauna, flood plains, historic districts, <br /> shorelines of the State, areas of poor drainage, areas having <br /> severe erosion hazards . <br /> 1. The construction of any residential structure of four <br /> dwelling units or less. <br /> 2. The construction of a barn, loafing shed, farm equipment <br /> storage building, produce storage or packing structure, <br /> or similar agricultural structure, covering less than <br /> 10,000 square feet and to be used only by the property <br /> owner or his or her agent in the conduct of farming the <br /> property. <br />
