Ward: <br />The Bargreen layout plan and equipment schedule is not <br />adequate to conduct a plan review. The Snohomish <br />Health District would like to inform you that all new or <br />renovated food-service establishments are required to <br />sub�it detailed layout plans with equipment specifications. <br />The layout plan and equipment schedule should indicate <br />new as �aell as existing equipment. <br />Al1 new food-service equipment must meet the National <br />Sanitation Foundation standards or its equivalent. <br />In addition, the plan review information must include <br />the following: equipment cut sherts, plu�bing, <br />ventilation, lighting, and finish schedules. <br />Tne above information should be as complete as possible <br />so zs to reduce the plan review tine. There is a plan <br />review charge of $26.50 per hour to a Lnaximum of $300.00. <br />The main purpose for the plan revie�� is the iollowing: <br />(1) to insure compliance �aith the sanitary requi�2nents, <br />(2) to prevent any lilisunderstanding by the foud-service <br />operator as to what is required, and (3) to prevent errors <br />which might later result in additional cost to the <br />operator. <br />Very truly yours, � <br />���������i <br />���� John W.
