• <br /> October 3, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., October 3, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, McNeal, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 26, 2018, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin reported on the City's efforts relating to the Navy's decision <br /> not to return the Nimitz to Naval Station Everett. <br /> • COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Snohomish <br /> County Tomorrow 2018 Annual Assembly. He also commented on the 50th <br /> anniversary of the Boeing 747. <br /> Council Member Tuohy reported on her attendance at the Evergreen <br /> Neighborhood meeting. She also reminded the public that the annual Monte <br /> Cristo Awards Ceremony will be on October 25 at 7 p.m. <br /> Council Member Murphy provided a recap of the Budget and Finance <br /> Subcommittee meeting held earlier this evening. He also provided a liaison <br /> report on his attendance at the Public Facilities District Board meeting. <br /> President Roberts reported on his attendance ant the Westmont-Holly <br /> Neighborhood meeting. He also stated that the Supplemental <br /> Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for commercial air service at Paine <br /> Field was issued last week and a comment period is now open. President <br /> Roberts spoke about Everett Housing Authority's reworked plans for Baker <br /> Heights. He announced that the regular City Council meeting of November <br /> 7 was cancelled and the meeting of November 21 will start at 12:30 p.m. <br /> • <br /> 309 <br />
