These comments add�ess building issues only, additional <br />revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning <br />or Fire). All reFerences refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated <br />otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it witl be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings retlecting the <br />corrections ►•equested. <br />The one-hour occupancy separation between the H-4 and B occupancies should <br />form a complete separation from floor to roof sheat��ing. It appears that the <br />northern offices on the second floor may be part of the separation. The eaisting <br />construction and opening protection should be verified to be of one-hour <br />construction. Sec[ioit 302.2. <br />2. The one-hour occupancy separation requires 60 minute, self-closing opening <br />protection. Glazing is not rated by UBC Standard 7-4 above 45 minutes.
