The preaction system protects the Data Center Area of the building and is only
an auxiliary system, 16 sprinklers. PRV's are only required on systems, wet, dry, preaction when the static pressure
exceeds 175 psi. having to do with the psi rating of the sprinkier heads, valves, fittings, ect... I believe the City pressure
is only 68 psi.
lohn
John Goldberg
Senior Contract Sales Rep
Cosco Fire Protection
office 425-686-6305
cell 425-766-3220
jgolderg@coscofire.com
- - _ ---- ---- -
From: Meg Haley [mailto:MHaley@ci.everett.wa.us]
Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2011 11:03 AM
To: John Goldberg; dave@cornerstonegci.com
Subject: RE: Everett Clinic Data Center permit K1107-007 Sprinkler TI for data center
Thanks for confirming that the hydraulic calculations already have a safety cushion for this revision. We left a 25 psi safety cushion. In addition, included in
our calc's was a 4 psi loss for the double detector and the City single detector based upon our system demand of 40D
GPM. eased upon this a resubmittal should not be necessary.
John
John Goldberg
Senior Contract Sales Rep
Cosco Fire Protection
office 425-656-6305
2
