RESOLUTION NO. 7296 El/FJFETT <br /> J <br /> A RESOLUTION of the City of Everett Agreeing <br /> With Conclusions of a Draft Supplemental <br /> Environmental Assessment Regarding <br /> Commercial Air Passenger Service at Snohomish <br /> County Airport/Paine Field <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council recognizes the need to expand and <br /> enhance our transportation infrastructure bymaximizingthe use of all options and <br /> p <br /> p <br /> assets to keep our growing region competitive; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has reviewed the September 2018 Draft <br /> Supplemental Environmental Assessment regarding the proposed increase from 12 to <br /> 24 commercial air service round trip flights per day at Snohomish County Airport/Paine <br /> Field; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City agrees that there will be no significant adverse impacts at or <br /> in the vicinity of Paine Field resulting from the proposed increase; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment is the latest in a <br /> series of detailed studies and plans that have extensively examined significant aviation, <br /> land use and environmental issues associated with Paine Field over the past 30 years; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this extensive body of work supports the conclusions that the <br /> proposed action will result in no significant adverse environmental impacts; and <br /> WHEREAS, these previous plans and studies have resulted in considerable <br /> infrastructure investment of both private and public funds in the immediate vicinity of <br /> Paine Field and Southwest Everett; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL <br /> THAT: <br />
