This change will meet the objective of having posted hours that reflect the amount of daylight available for public use, which will allow the parks to be closed when daylight hours are limited and parks should be closed to public access. Generally,parks where organized activities,facilities and scheduled events operate later than dusk,for example a soccer game at Kasch Park or rental hall use at Forest Park,will remain open until the completion of those activities, facility uses or scheduled events. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance regarding the operating hours of City Parks, amending Ordinance 3059-08,(EMC 9.06.208.B). • 33
