idow <br /> RESOLUTION No. V7T <br /> A Resolution declaring two Emergency-One Fire Engine surplus Pumpers s lus and <br /> p <br /> authorizing their sale. <br /> Whereas, the City has two 1995 John Deere Emergency-One Fire Engine Pumpers (J0011 <br /> &J0013)in its fleet; and <br /> Whereas,the above-referenced equipment is no longer of value or use to the City; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 (Chapter 3.88 EMC) establishes a procedure and methods for <br /> surplus or disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas,based on the guidelines set forth in EMC 3.88.020 sale public to Fleet Manager's <br /> Association members, or www.washingtonfrrechiefs.com or www.snocountychiefs.org or <br /> through an online platform such as www.firetruclmall.corn is the disposition method that <br /> best meets the City's interests; and <br /> Whereas,the City's Purchasing Manager has reported the basis for the estimated value of <br /> the surplus property and has recommended to surplus the above-referenced vehicles and <br /> equipment. The value of each piece of equipment is in excess of$5,000. <br /> NOW, TH H;REFORE,it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett: <br /> 1. The Whereas,the City has 1995 John Deere Emergency-One Fire Engine Pumpers <br /> (J0011 &J0013),which are no longer of value or use to the City; and p <br /> 2. The disposition of this equipment through sale is hereby y a uthorized under EMC <br /> 3.88.070.C.
