(Attn: Richard See) <br />550 Kirkland Way 11406 (Project Arch.) <br />Kirkland, WA 99033 <br />Project Description: Proposed Discount Tire Store with 8 service bays and showroom <br />and 35 parking stalls. <br />Location: 8125 Evergreen Way <br />Reco�endations: <br />Monitored fire and intrusion alarm system �oned for each entity. Remote panic <br />buttons and/or foot trips fcr customer counter in event of an armed robbery. Have <br />each employee use different alarm codes and connect system to computer to monitor <br />egress and digress. <br />Best to enclose outside storage areas, install cyclone fence with 3-strand barbed <br />t�ire on top and install perimeter alarm sensors. <br />If keeping cash overnight, install "actual" money safe, install seismic detectors <br />and passive infrared alarm seneors in the room. <br />Store front glasa doora need locking case bolts top and bottom; maximum security <br />deadbolt should be 1 3/4" throw and 3/4" laminated steel. <br />The other periweter doors should be solid core or metal wi.th double cylinder dead- <br />bolts; if doore open to expose outside of hinges, pin hinges. <br />Metal security bap doors can be secured with 1/2" case hardened steel hasps or chain <br />and padlocks with 1/2" case hardened steel shackles. <br />The more large non-opening office windows visible to the parking areas the safer the � <br />area is from assaults and thefts.
