The ceiling and walls in the snack bar, storage areas and restroom shall <br />be smooth, nonabsorbent, easily cleanable and light colored. The wall-floor and equipment-floor junctures shall be coved and sealed <br />in the snack bar, storage areas and restrooms. <br />13. A restroom shall be provided for the employees. It shall have the <br />following: <br />a. tight-fitting, self-closing door; <br />b. hot and cold running water; <br />c. sanitary (once use) soap and towel dispensers; <br />d. provide a covered wa'ste receptacle for sanitary napkin disposal; <br />e. mechanical ventila[ion to the outside. <br />14. A reaconably accurate thermometer shall be in all refrigerat�d units in <br />an easily readable location. <br />15. Any cooking shail be done under commercial hood and ventilation system. <br />16. Designate an area for employees personal items, i:e, coats. - <br />17. If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout and - _ <br />equipment specifications, the Snohomish Health Aistrict nceds to be <br />no�ified. <br />18. Before an operating permit can be issued to the new location, an inspection <br />will be made to insure no food code violations as per State Food Code <br />are existing. Plea�e contact this office at least one week in advance <br />for an apnointment. <br />19. By your introducCion letter, it implied the snack bar was already in <br />operation. If this is the r_ase, before a new operating permit is issued <br />for the establishment,'a site visit must be made to determine by State <br />Food Code Requirments what foods can be legally served by the current <br />facilities. <br />
