These comments address building issues only. Additional <br />revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning <br />or Fire). All references refer to the 1994 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the <br />State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1994 Edition, unless stated <br />otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />1. This review is only for phase II of the project. Phase III will require a separate <br />submittal. <br />2. The type of construction, building ar.a, occupancy classifications, occupant load, <br />sprinklers and fire alarm information should be shown on the cover sheet. <br />3. To mitigate the Kid's Care area (short of an E-3 Occupancy classification), the walls <br />surrounding the space should be constructed as for a one -hour occupancy separation <br />and doors should be rated for one -hour fire resistance. Section 302.3. <br />4. Safety glazing should be shown for the glazing within 24" of a door (closed position). <br />The relites into the room `office' should be revised. Section 2406.4. <br />5.
