B. National Objectives The Subrecipient certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will meet one or more of the following CDBG National Objectives - 1) benefit low/moderate income persons, 2) aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight or, 3) meet community development needs having a particular urgency - as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208. Briefly describe which objective(s) the activity will carry out and how this National Objective will be met. 1) Benefit low/moderate income persons Our outreach team will work with local families in crisis to determine what basic needs services are required focusing on housing and food security issues. Through our case management process we will determine ongoing ability to maintain current housing past the crisis, connect with additional community resources including food banks, programs for low/moderate income utility programs and feeding programs. Performance Monitoring The City will monitor the performance of the Subrecipient against goals and performance standards required herein through quarterly reports and site visits. Substandard performance as determined by the City will constitute non-compliance with this Agreement. If action to correct such substandard performance is not taken by the Subrecipient within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the City and after being notified by the City, contract suspension or termination procedures will be initiated.
