Past general sawmill operations (use, storage, and handling of petroleum products, equipment <br /> maintenance and maintenance building sump) <br /> 2. Potential contaminants in imported fill of unknown origin <br /> 3. Potential contaminant migration from west-adjacent former Time Oil service station. <br /> Attach additional pages if necessary. <br /> Circumstances of Release(s). To the extent known, please describe below the circumstances of the <br /> release(s). <br /> 1. Low-level lube oil-range petroleum hydrocarbons detected in site soils are presumed to have <br /> resulted from spills and leaks during past Facility operation, possible pathways from facility equipment <br /> to soil and groundwater include release to bare soil and cracks in asphalt and concrete in and around <br /> the facility sump. <br /> 2. A fill layer up to 10 feet thick is present at the site. The fill contains varying amounts of wood <br /> debris, gravel, charcoal, asphalt, and brick debris. Detected cPAHs may be related to fill. The <br /> source of this fill is unknown. <br /> 3. West-adjacent property was formerly a Time Oil gas station with documented releases. Gasoline <br /> was detected at a concentration above applicable MTCA Method A cleanup level in one soil sample, <br /> from a location in close proximity to the shared property boundary; this gasoline contamination may <br /> represent migratory contamination originating from the former Time Oil facility. <br /> Attach additional pages if necessary. <br /> Circumstances of Release Discovery.
