From: Heather Griffin
Sent: Friday, June 11, 2010 12:13 PM
To: Mark Sadler; Kirk Brooks
Subject: RE: Added Conditions for Public Works ROW Permit for Exxon Mobil for Federal Ave Work
Both of your proposed comments for this permit look good to me. I think #5 below should also be applied to
any pipelines/structures, etc. pulled out of the ground. Please provide a copy of the final permit that is issued
so I cz n send it on to our consultant.
My understanding is that a City inspector will not be on -site for the weekend work just the City's
environmental consultant for witnessing the fuel line decommissioning. Is that right? Should the consultant
see something that requires City contact during the weekend who should he call? For instance what if they
fail to put in the trench dam prior to backfilling? Should he speak up and say something, call a City contact, or
just document what happened for City to enforce later?
.9Ceat6er Griffin l
SeniorrEngineer s
4'11611c'Works (Dept.
