i <br /> 1 1 <br /> 2 1-O7 i7,©PTr.G <br /> 3 (January 25, 2016) <br /> 4 Required Federal Aid Provisions <br /> 5 The Required Contract Provisions Federal Aid Construction Contracts (FHWA 1273) <br /> 6 Revised May 1, 2012 and the amendments thereto supersede any conflicting provisions <br /> 7 of the Standard Specifications and are made a part of this Contract; provided, however, <br /> 8 that if any of the provisions of FHWA 1273, as amended, are less restrictive than <br /> 9 Washington State Law, then the Washington State Law shall prevail. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 The provisions of FHWA 1273, as amended, included in this Contract require that the <br /> 12 Contractor insert the FHWA 1273 and amendments thereto in each Subcontract, together <br /> 13 with the wage rates which are part of the FHWA 1273, as amended. Also, a clause shall 1 <br /> 14 be included in each Subcontract requiring the Subcontractors to insert the FHWA 1273 <br /> 15 and amendments thereto in any lower tier Subcontracts, together with the wage rates. <br /> 16 The Contractor shall also ensure that this section, REQUIRED FEDERAL AID <br /> 17 PROVISIONS, is inserted in each Subcontract for Subcontractors and lower tier <br /> 18 Subcontractors.
