During such time, and provided that <br /> 20 there has been an advance warning to the public, the intersection may be closed for the <br /> I 21 minimum time required to place and compact the mixture. In hot weather, the Engineer <br /> 22 may require the application of water to the pavement to accelerate the finish rolling of <br /> 23 the pavement and to shorten the time required before reopening to traffic. <br /> I 24 <br /> 25 Before closing an intersection, advance warning signs shall be placed and signs shall <br /> 26 also be placed marking the detour or alternate route. <br /> I27 <br /> 28 During paving operations, temporary pavement markings shall be maintained throughout <br /> 29 the project. Temporary pavement markings shall be installed on the Roadway prior to <br /> I30 opening to traffic. Temporary pavement markings shall be in accordance with Section 8- <br /> 31 23. <br /> 32 <br /> I33 All costs in connection with performing the Work in accordance with these requirements, <br /> 34 except the cost of temporary pavement markings, shall be included in the unit Contract <br /> I 35 prices for the various Bid items involved in the Contract. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 5-04.3(3) Equipment <br /> I <br /> N.
