Temporary centerline marking, post-paving temporary marking, temporary stop I <br /> 2 bars, and maintaining temporary pavement marking must comply with Section <br /> 3 8-23. <br /> 4 3. Permanent pavement marking must comply with Section 8-22. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 5-04.3(14)B2 Submittals — Planing Plan and HMA Paving Plan <br /> I <br /> 7 The Contractor must submit a separate planing plan and a separate paving plan to the <br /> 8 Engineer at least 5 Working Days in advance of each operation's activity start date. <br /> 9 These plans must show how the moving operation and traffic control are coordinated, as <br /> I <br /> 10 they will be discussed at the pre-planing briefing and pre-paving briefing. When <br /> 11 requested by the Engineer, the Contractor must provide each operation's traffic control <br /> 12 plan on 24 x 36 inch or larger size Shop Drawings with a scale showing both the area of <br /> 13 operation and sufficient detail of traffic beyond the area of operation where detour traffic <br /> 14 may be required. The scale on the Shop Drawings is 1 inch = 20 feet, which may be <br /> 15 changed if the Engineer agrees sufficient detail is shown. <br /> 16 111 <br /> 17 The planing operation and the paving operation include, but are not limited to, metal <br /> 18 detection, removal of asphalt and temporary asphalt of any kind, tack coat and drying, <br /> 19 staging of supply trucks, paving trains, rolling, scheduling, and as may be discussed at <br /> 20 the briefing. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 When intersections will be partially or totally blocked, provide adequately sized and <br /> 23 noticeable signage alerting traffic of closures to come, a minimum 2 Working Days in <br /> 24 advance. The traffic control plan must show where peace officers will be stationed when <br /> 25 signalization is or may be, countermanded, and show ar-eas where flaggers are <br /> 26 proposed. <br /> 27 I 28 At a minimum, the planing and the paving plan must include: <br /> 29 I 30 1. A copy of the accepted traffic control plan, see Section 1-10.2(2), detailing each <br /> 31 day's traffic control as it relates to the specific requirements of that day's planing <br /> 32 and paving. Briefly describe the se-quencing of traffic control consistent with the <br /> 33 proposed planing and paving sequence, and scheduling of placement of <br /> 34 temporary pavement markings and channelizing devices after each day's <br /> 35 planing, and paving. <br /> 36 2. A copy of each intersection's traffic control plan. 1 <br /> 37 3. Haul routes from Supplier facilities, and locations of temporary parking and <br /> 38 staging areas, including return routes. Describe the complete round trip as it <br /> 39 relates to the sequencing of paving operations. <br /> 40 4. Names and locations of HMA Supplier facilities to be used. <br /> 41 5. List of all equipment to be used for paving. <br /> 42 6. List of personnel and associated job classification assigned to each piece of <br /> 43 paving equipment. <br /> 44 7. Description (geometric or narrative) of the scheduled sequence of planing and of <br /> 45 paving, and intended area of planing and of paving for each day's work, must <br /> 46 include the directions of proposed planing and of proposed paving, sequence of <br /> I <br /> N.
