1 5-05.1 Description I <br /> 2 <br /> 3 Section 5-05.1 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 4 <br /> 5 This Work shall also include constructing cement concrete at locations as shown in Plans. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 5-05.2 Materials <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Section 5-05.2 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Concrete shall be high early-strength, with a minimum compressive strength of 2,500 psi <br /> 12 within 48 hours of placement and 4,000 psi by 28 days. <br /> 13 1 14 <br /> 15 CUE 5-06 PVMT PA TCHING.R a F <br /> 16 5-06 PAVEMENT PATCHING I <br /> 17 (******) <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Section 5-06 is new and is supplemented with the following: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 5-06.1 Description <br /> 22 <br /> 23 This work shall consist of the reconstruction and patching of trenches and other <br /> 24 excavations in paved streets and other paved areas. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 5-06.2 Materials <br /> 27 <br /> 28 All materials shall conform to the requirements specified for the materials in Sections 5- <br /> 29 04 & 5-05 of the Standard Specifications except as modified by these Special Provisions. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 HMA pavement for patching shall be HMA Class 1/2", PG 64-22 as specified in Section 5- <br /> 32 04 of the Standard Specifications. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Asphalt for temporary pavement patch shall be cold mix asphalt (MC 250) per Section 9- <br /> 35 02 of the Standard Specifications. Mineral aggregate shall meet the same requirements <br /> 36 as the aggregates used in HMA Class 1/", PG 64-22. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Tack coat shall be emulsified asphalt grade CSS-1 as specified in Section 9-02 of the <br /> 39 Standard Specifications. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Cement concrete for pavement patching shall be Class 4000, HES. Curing time for Class <br /> 42 4000 HES concrete shall be 5 days. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Crushed surfacing top course used for pavement patching shall conform to the <br /> 45 requirements of Section 9-03.9(3) of the Standard Specifications. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 <br /> I <br /> N.
