ORDINANCE NO. ��2o—Qe AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of apoRion of the North/South alley located in Block 638, Plat of Swalwell's Second Addition., Everett WA. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, did by Resolutibn No. 4580 duly adopt and fix the 29th day of April, 1998 at 8:30A.IvI., as the date of public hearing; and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and detecmination of said Resolution has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing, the issues were publicly presented; and ' WHEREAS, the City Council fir�ds it would not vacau the alley could it not insure that traffic circulation would be continued througt► an altemate right of way; and WHEREAS, it now appears w the City Council of the City of Everett that the said alley resolved to be vacated shouidbe vaceted pursuaat to the utms and conditions of this ordinance: NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: ' Section 1: That the following described righu-of-way: All that portion of Block 638, Plat of Swalwell's Second Addition, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, Page 11, records of Snohomish County, Washington; described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 16 of said block; THENCE, South along the East lines of Lou 16 thcough 20, inclusive, to the Southeast comer of said Lot 20; THENCE, Esst along the Easterly projected South line of said Lot 20 to the Southwest comer of Lot 21 of said Block 638; THENCE, North along the West line of Lots 21 through 25, inclusive, to the Northwest comer of said Lot 25 of said block; THENCE, West along the Westerly projected North line of said Lot 25 to the Northeast corner of Lot 16, and the POINT OF BEGINNING be and the same is hereby vacated pursuant to the conditions set forth in this ordinance.
