Administrative and procedural requirements for: <br /> a. Schedule of Values. <br /> B. Related Specification Sections include but are not necessarily limited to: <br /> ' 1. Division 00-Procurement and Contracting Requirements. <br /> 2. Division 01 -General Requirements. <br /> 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Referenced Standards: <br /> 1. Building Code: <br /> a. International Code Council(ICC): <br /> ' 1) International Building Code and associated standards,2015 Edition including all <br /> amendments,referred to herein as Building Code. <br /> 1.3 DEFINITIONS <br /> ' A. Schedule of Values: A schedule,prepared and maintained by Contractor,allocating portions of <br /> the Contract Price to various portions of the Work and used as the basis for reviewing <br /> Contractor's Applications for Payment. See Section 00 72 13,Part 9.1.A. <br /> 1.4 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Preliminary Schedule of Values: <br /> 1. Within 10 days after the Effective Date of the Contract(or as otherwise specifically required <br /> by the Contract Documents), submit a preliminary Schedule of Values for all of the Work <br /> which includes quantities and prices of items which when added together equal the Contract <br /> Price and subdivides the Work into component parts in sufficient detail to serve as the basis <br /> for progress payments during performance of the Work. Such prices will include an <br /> appropriate amount of overhead and profit applicable to each item of Work. <br /> 2. Preliminary Schedule of Values must be received prior to starting Construction. <br /> ' 1.5 SCHEDULE OF VALUES <br /> A. Where a Contract is awarded on a lump sum basis, file with the Engineer a balanced price <br /> segregation of the lump sum bid into items similar to the various subdivisions of the general and <br /> detailed specifications,the sum of which shall equal the lump sum bid. <br /> 1. The cost of various materials shall be furnished upon request of the Engineer, and such data <br /> will then be used as a basis for making progress estimates. <br /> 2. Breakdown costs, itemized by Specification Section and trade,and distribute cost to <br /> ' individual applicable units and structures. <br /> 3. Where structures, units, equipment or other components are identified by a specific series <br /> or, identification number, utilize said designation throughout cost breakdown. <br /> ' 4. Provide detailed breakdown for individual yard piping or conduit runs and identify <br /> approximate quantities involved to satisfaction of the Engineer. <br /> 5. Provide separate breakdown for change order items requested. <br /> 6.
