I <br /> I <br /> IDOCUMENT 00 22 13—SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br /> I1.1 GENERAL <br /> A. It is the intent of City to award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. <br /> I Before award, the Bidder must also meet the supplemental bidder responsibility criteria listed <br /> below. <br /> B. Further, the apparent low Bidder and second apparent low bidder must submit the Bidder <br /> Qualification Statement (DOCUMENT 00 45 13) and any other documentation listed below to <br /> the City within one business day after the bid opening, unless the City's project manager, in <br /> writing, allows additional time. <br /> IC. The City reserves the right to require such documentation from other bidders also. <br /> 1 1.2 SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY CRITERIA <br /> I A. Experience <br /> 1. Criteria: <br /> a. The Bidder must have successfully completed at least three Similar Projects within <br /> I the ten years prior to bid opening. <br /> b. The Bidder's superintendent for the Project must have successfully supervised, or <br /> been in a supervisory capacity such as superintendent or site foreman, to <br /> Icompletion at least two Similar Projects within the ten years prior to bid opening <br /> 2. Definition of Similar Project: <br /> I a. A"Similar Project"means a project that meets all of the following requirements: <br /> 1) Awarded total contract value of at least$2,000,000 dollars. <br /> 2) Construction of a significant process mechanical facility (including pumps <br /> I 3) and process equipment) on a wastewater treatment plant. <br /> Coordination of multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural <br /> and electrical elements. <br /> 4) Work with deep foundations and shoring systems. <br /> I3. Documentation: <br /> a. The Bidder shall submit the Bidder Qualification Statement as provided in <br /> I b. Document 00 45 13. <br /> The City may also use independent sources of information that may be available to <br /> demonstrate whether the Bidder is in compliance with these criteria. <br /> 1 4. Evaluation: <br /> a.
