RESOLUTION No. 7308 elm•Am <br /> ti`FRE'TT <br /> A Resolution declaring one Honda Police Motorcycle surplus and authorizing transfer to the <br /> Imagine Children's Museum <br /> Whereas, The City has a 2009 Honda ST1300PA Motorcycle P0900 (the "Motorcycle") in its fleet <br /> that is not functional and requires significant repair. <br /> Whereas, the motorcycle is no longer of value or use to the City. <br /> Whereas, Chapter 3.88 of the Everett Municipal Code (EMC) establishes a procedure and <br /> methods for surplus or disposition of City-owned personal property. <br /> Whereas, based on the guidelines set forth in EMC 3.88.020, transfer of the Motorcycle to the <br /> Imagine Children's Museum is the disposition method that best meets the City's interests. The <br /> Motorcycle will be transferred in a disabled condition. <br /> Whereas, the purpose of the transfer is for the Motorcycle to be used for educational purposes <br /> to further the general welfare of the citizens of the City, including motorcycle safety education <br /> and education regarding the role of law enforcement. <br /> Whereas, the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the estimated value of the <br /> Motorcycle and has recommended to surplus the Motorcycle to the Imagine Children's <br /> Museum by transfer agreement, substantially in the form attached to this resolution. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett: <br /> 1. The Motorcycle is no longer of value or use to the City. <br /> 2.
