I <br /> 1 <br /> 2 State Departments of Fish And Wildlife <br /> 3 <br /> 4 Section 1-07.5(2) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 5 <br /> 6 (April 2, 2018, WSDOT GSP) <br /> 7 <br /> 8 The following Provisions summarize the requirements, in addition to those required <br /> 9 elsewhere in the Contract, imposed upon the Contracting Agency by the Washington <br /> 10 State Department of Fish and Wildlife.Throughout the work, the Contractor shall comply <br /> 11 with the following requirements: <br /> 12 <br /> 13 ***Comply with requirements of the Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA) as included in <br /> 14 Appendix E of these Specifications, including the following requirements: <br /> 15 1. Do not conduct project activities when the work are is inundated by tidal waters <br /> 16 2. Prevent contaminants from the project, such as petroleum products, hydraulic <br /> 17 fluid, fresh concrete, sediments, sediment-laden water, chemicals, or any other <br /> 18 toxic or harmful materials, from entering or leaching into waters of the state. <br /> 19 3. Install an inflatable plug downstream of the work to prevent tidal flows and exclude ' <br /> 20 fish from entering the work area. [The plug shall be installed when runoff from the <br /> 21 work area may enter the existing stormwater system connected to PSO3, <br /> 22 including during connection to the existing drainage pipe. The plug is not required <br /> 23 when all runoff from the work area is be routed to the combined sewer system.] <br /> 24 4. Ensure all catch basins, culverts, energy dissipation devices and pipeline outfalls <br /> 25 are free of obstructions for the life of the project to ensure proper functioning of <br /> 26 the stormwater and combined sewer outfall management system. *** <br /> 2'1 <br /> 28 (April 2, 2018, WSDOT GSP) <br /> 29 All costs to comply with this special provision are incidental to the Contract and are the <br /> 30 responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor shall include all related costs in the <br /> 31 associated bid prices of the Contract. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 <br /> 34 <br /> 35 1-07.6 Permits and Licenses <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Section 1-07.6 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 38 <br /> 39 (January 2, 2018, WSDOT GSP) <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The Contracting Agency has obtained the below-listed permit(s)for this project.A copy of the <br /> 42 permit(s) is attached as an appendix for informational purposes. Copies of these permits, <br /> 43 including a copy of the Transfer of Coverage form, when applicable, are required to be onsite <br /> 44 at all times. <br /> 45111 <br /> 46 Contact with the permitting agencies, concerning the below-listed permit(s), shall be made <br /> 47 through the Engineer with the exception of when the Construction Stormwater General <br /> 48 Permit coverage is transferred to the Contractor, direct communication with the Department <br /> 49 of Ecology is allowed.
