I 1 2 State Departments of Fish And Wildlife 3 4 Section 1-07.5(2) is supplemented with the following: 5 6 (April 2, 2018, WSDOT GSP) 7 8 The following Provisions summarize the requirements, in addition to those required 9 elsewhere in the Contract, imposed upon the Contracting Agency by the Washington 10 State Department of Fish and Wildlife.Throughout the work, the Contractor shall comply 11 with the following requirements: 12 13 ***Comply with requirements of the Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA) as included in 14 Appendix E of these Specifications, including the following requirements: 15 1. Do not conduct project activities when the work are is inundated by tidal waters 16 2. Prevent contaminants from the project, such as petroleum products, hydraulic 17 fluid, fresh concrete, sediments, sediment-laden water, chemicals, or any other 18 toxic or harmful materials, from entering or leaching into waters of the state. 19 3. Install an inflatable plug downstream of the work to prevent tidal flows and exclude ' 20 fish from entering the work area. [The plug shall be installed when runoff from the 21 work area may enter the existing stormwater system connected to PSO3, 22 including during connection to the existing drainage pipe. The plug is not required 23 when all runoff from the work area is be routed to the combined sewer system.] 24 4. Ensure all catch basins, culverts, energy dissipation devices and pipeline outfalls 25 are free of obstructions for the life of the project to ensure proper functioning of 26 the stormwater and combined sewer outfall management system. *** 2'1 28 (April 2, 2018, WSDOT GSP) 29 All costs to comply with this special provision are incidental to the Contract and are the 30 responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor shall include all related costs in the 31 associated bid prices of the Contract. 32 33 34 35 1-07.6 Permits and Licenses 36 37 Section 1-07.6 is supplemented with the following: 38 39 (January 2, 2018, WSDOT GSP) 40 41 The Contracting Agency has obtained the below-listed permit(s)for this project.A copy of the 42 permit(s) is attached as an appendix for informational purposes. Copies of these permits, 43 including a copy of the Transfer of Coverage form, when applicable, are required to be onsite 44 at all times. 45111 46 Contact with the permitting agencies, concerning the below-listed permit(s), shall be made 47 through the Engineer with the exception of when the Construction Stormwater General 48 Permit coverage is transferred to the Contractor, direct communication with the Department 49 of Ecology is allowed. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining Ecology's approval 50 for any Work requiring additional approvals (e.g. Request for Chemical Treatment Form).
