November 14, 2018 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members McNeal and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING- SURPLUS CITY-OWNED PROPERTIES <br /> President Roberts opened a public hearing regarding a resolution <br /> authorizing the declaration of certain City-owned properties as surplus and <br /> authorizing the sale and disposition of those properties. <br /> Mike Palacios, Real Property, presented the lot information and site maps <br /> for the proposed surplus properties. <br /> Vicki Howell, Everett; Michael Crehan, Everett; and Robert Haverlock <br /> Everett, spoke about the proposed surplus of the lots on Rockefeller <br /> • Avenue. <br /> Ellie Hanes, Everett, spoke about the proposed surplus of the lot on <br /> Highland Avenue. <br /> Mike Palacios read a letter from Lisa Zhang and Craig Wei, Everett, <br /> regarding the proposed surplus of the lot on 112th Street SE. <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Tuohy to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members McNeal and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mike Palacios, Paul Kaftanski, Administration; and Lori Cummings, Parks, <br /> addressed concerns raised by citizens in their comments, including soil <br /> contamination near the Rockefeller Avenue lots, deed restrictions, impacts <br /> on wildlife near the Rockefeller lots, the potential impact of litigation <br /> regarding the Highland Avenue lot, zoning classifications of the proposed <br /> • <br /> 369 <br />
