Please provide a response letter, which shows where <br /> each item in this correction letter is addressed on the plan set. <br /> General <br /> 1. A final site plan indicating the required number of parking spaces, required landscaping, and e <br /> • ^ van acc�ssible parking spot with access aisle is required for plan revie�� by the Buiiding and <br /> Planning Departments. Demolition work should be included on this drewing. The property lines <br /> should be shown on the site plan. <br /> " 2. All new work should be identified on the drawings. For example, it is not clear if the center stair <br /> treads are to be replaced or if they are existing treads to remain. New construction should be <br /> sho�vn as dark lines to differentiate it from existing (light lines), or new work should be labeled <br /> . <br /> for clarity; e.g. new hand rails, new stairs, and new windows (if any). <br /> '�3. New walls should include targets to a wall section to indicate construction details at the floor, <br /> ceiling, and underside of structure. <br /> �q. The applicable codes listed at the bottom of this letter should be referenced on the plans. <br /> Construction <br /> 1. A rated shaft enciosure is required at the stairway connecting the three stories in the change of <br /> J occupancy from a single family residence to a commercial structure, per IFC section 4603.3.2. <br /> Opening protectives, horizontal and vertical fire-rated tested assemblies, hourly separation <br /> required, continuity, termination of the enclosure at top and bottom should be shown on the <br /> drawings, per IBC chapter 7. <br /> 2. The door schedule should indicate hardware sets for the new doors, or existing doors to be <br /> relocated (considered new), and type of glazing for the windows, if any. <br /> a. The minimum size all new or relocated doors sheuld be sliown on the schedule as <br /> minimum 2'-10"wide, 6'-8" high, per IBC section 1008.1.1. <br /> b. All new doors or relocated doors should be identified on the door schedule with a <br /> specific door hardware set that does not require tight grasping, pinching or twisting of <br /> the wrist to operate, per IBC section 1008.1.9.1. <br /> c. Door hardware height should be shown on schematic door elevations, per IBC section <br /> 1008.1.9.2. �, <br /> d.
