Meg Haley
Subject: Second Corrections letter for 3232 Oakes Ave
Location: Fauver conference room, 3200 Cedar St, 2nd Floor
Start: Tue 1214/2012 2:00 PM
End: Tue 12/4/2012 3:00 PM
Recurrence: (none)
Meeting Status: Meeting organizer
Organizer: Meg Haley
Required Attendees: Tony Lee; Paul McKee; Michaei Brick; CR-PW 2nd FL Fauver; Jim Venturo
Optional Attendees: Steve Ingalsbe
Categories: Import: nt
This meeting is to discuss the feasibility of how to best meet the retroactive shaft requirements from the fire
code with an exit enclosure, as noted in the second corrections letter sent out this morning. Some
background:
. At the feasibiliry meeting on October llth, the difficulty of connecting three stories in a change of
occupancy from a residence to an office building was mentioned, and the services of an architect were
recammended.
. After drewings were submilted on October 25th, the requirement for a rated enclosure at the exit stair,
connecting three stories, was noted in the first corredions letter, sent on November 9th.
. The difficuity of executing this requirement is apparent in the second drawing submittal, received on
November 19th.
Other comments on the second corrections letter, such as the designation of accessibility requirements on the
architectural plans submitted for permit, may be discussed.
Meg
I4eg Hatey, NChRB
Ccnrner✓al Plans 6anrnc r
EvereK Pu6/ic Works/Buildina Oepartmenf
3)00 Cedar St
Fvciett,WA 9H2U1
Ti7i.27.FAt3
F 4?5J+7.8656
1
