Plumbing must meet state and local codes. <br />2. A reduced pressure backflow p�evention de�rice is required at the end of the copper water pipe <br />prior to the carbonation device. <br />3. Extra wali protection is required on walls behind sinks and food prepazation tables. A 16 inch <br />high backsplash of plasdc laminate, fiberglass reinforced plastic or equal is acceptable. Plastic <br />coated hardbeard is not acceptable. <br />4. A horizontal separation of at least 16 inches or a vertical paztition 16 inches in height is required <br />between the food prepazation sink and all other sinks. <br />5. The ceili�q above the food pneparation areas must be nonabsorbent, smooth, and easily cleanable. <br />6. Tlie Health District operating permit applicati�n process must be completed prior to opening for <br />business. <br />If thero are any significant changes or additions to your layout or eauipment, tt�e Snohomish Health <br />Disvict must be notified. <br />A preoperational inspection is required prior to opening for business. At the time of inspection the <br />constmction of the food service establishment must be complete and all equipment must be in place. <br />Incomplete construction may result in a$55.00 reinspectson fee. Please contact the Food Program <br />office about one week in advance to schedule an appointment.
