Resolution No. 6643 <br /> A Resolution accepting the 10 percent petition <br /> and authorizing submittal of the 60 percent petition <br /> for the Holdeman Annexation <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Everett has received a 10 percent petition and Notice of Intent for an annexation <br /> meeting the requirements of RCW 35.13.125, and <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Everett has a desire to work with citizens adjacent to Everett in unincorporated <br /> Snohomish County to become part of the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS,the area proposed for annexation is within the Urban Growth Boundary established by <br /> Snohomish County and along a State Highway; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1. The City of Everett wishes to accept the 10 percent petition for the proposed annexation and authorize <br /> the signature collection for the 60%petition. <br /> 2. The City of Everett will require the simultaneous implementation of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> designation by adoption of the implementing zoning for the annexa,atii.'� -a.- <br /> 3.
