LA, , - 76 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 371-75, Section (1) (a) <br /> also described as 6.04.020 of the Everett Municipal Code to <br /> provide a change in the minimum age required for obtaining <br /> 1 a license as provided in this section and establishing a <br /> license fee for owners of seeing-eye dogs and retired citizens. <br /> • 2 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 5 Section 1: That Ordinance No . 371-75 , Section (1)(a) also described as <br /> 6 6.04.020 of the Everett Municipal Code which reads as follows: <br /> 7 <br /> A. Any person owning, keeping, harboring or having custody of <br /> 8 any animal over three months of age within this municipality <br /> must obtain a license as provided in this section. This provi- <br /> 9 sion shall not apply to the keeping of cats, small cage birds, <br /> or aquatic and amphibian animals solely as pets. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 License Fee Schedule <br /> 12 <br /> Dog, female (unaltered) $10.00 <br /> 13 Dog, male (unaltered) 8.00 <br /> Dog, male (neutered) 3.00 <br /> 14 Dog, female (spayed) 3.00 <br /> Large domestic animals 10.00 <br /> 15 Unusual or exotic animals 25.00 <br /> 16 Replacement licenses 1.00 <br /> 17 <br /> Being the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 18 <br /> A. Any person owning, keeping, harboring or having custody of <br /> 19 any animal over six months of age within this municipality must <br /> obtain a license as provided in this section. This provision <br /> 20 shall not apply to the keeping of cats, small cage birds , or <br /> 21 aquatic and amphibian animals solely as pets. <br /> 22 <br /> License Fee Schedule <br /> 23 <br /> Dog, female (unaltered) $10.00 <br /> 24 Dog, male (unaltered) 8.00 <br /> Dog, male (neutered) 3,00 <br /> 25 Dog, female (spayed) 3.00 <br /> 26 Large domestic animals 10.00 <br /> Unusual or exotic animals 25.00 <br /> 27 Replacement licenses 1.00 <br /> 28 <br /> Owners of seeing-eye dogs and retired citizens who are 62 years <br /> 29 of age or older will be issued licenses for one dollar for each dog <br /> up to a maximum of three dogs , provided that the penalty for late <br /> 30 application may not be waived and shall be based on the applicable <br /> 31 license fee for such dog. <br /> 32 <br />
