(l c_ <br /> ORDINANCE NO . /7- 76, <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 379-75, Section 2, <br /> Subsection IV, Public Safety, Fire, establishing a new salary <br /> 1 schedule for Fire Department employees represented by IAFF <br /> Local 350, consistent with the award made by a neutral arbiter <br /> 2 under Washington State Compulsory Arbitration Law. <br /> 3 WHEREAS, The City and the Fire Department employees represented <br /> by the IAFF submitted their salary schedule to arbitration for <br /> 4 determination; and <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, a neutral arbitrator found the salary schedule herein <br /> 6 below described to be in the best interests of both parties; NOW <br /> THEREFORE: <br /> 7 <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN that the salary schedule <br /> 8 for all Fire Department employees will be as follows for the year <br /> 1976: <br /> 9 <br /> 10 SECTION I <br /> 11 421 Fire Dispatcher B-21 860 927 1010 1082 1315 <br /> 433 Fire Inspector C-16 1400 (less than six years service) <br /> 12 433 Fire Inspector C-17 1487 (more than six years service) <br /> 435 Asst. Fire Marshal C-19 1578 (less than 10 years service) <br /> 13 435 Asst. Fire Marshal C-20 1683 (more than 10 years service) <br /> 441 Firefighter B-21 921 1021 1110 1215 1315 <br /> 14 442 Fire Captain C-17 1487 - - - - <br /> 15 443 Batt. A-22 1060 1182 1449 - - <br /> 17 All Personnel shall receive an additional $.10 for each hour when assigned to an <br /> aid car . <br /> 18 <br /> SECTION 2 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 In addition, all employees represented by IAFF Local 350 shall be paid in addition <br /> to these base salaries, a longevity increment as follows: <br /> 21 <br /> After 4 years service, base pay plus $25.00 per month <br /> 22 After 8 years service, base pay plus $50.00 per month <br /> After 12 years service, base pay plus $75.00 per month <br /> 23 After 16 years service, base pay plus $100.00 per month <br /> After 20 years service, base pay plus $125.00 per month <br /> 24 <br /> 25 SECTION 3 <br /> 26 The following exempt positions in the Fire Department shall be paid in <br /> accordance with the following schedule: <br /> 27 <br /> 438 Fire Marshal E-17 1440 - - - 1990 <br /> 28 444 Deputy Fire Chief E-17 1440 - - - 1990 <br /> 450 Fire Chief E-18 1650 - - - 2373 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
