1 ORDINANCE NO. 4-i/,„?-7, <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE establishing classifications <br /> for employees of the City of Everett under <br /> 3 the Everett Housing Rehabilitation Program <br /> and appropriating Community Development <br /> 4 Block Grant funds for the accomplishment <br /> of the program and declaring an emergency <br /> 5 to exist. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has by <br /> 8 Resolution on September 1, 1976 , authorized the Mayor to begin <br /> 9 implementation of the Everett Housing Rehabilitation Program, <br /> 10 and, <br /> 11 <br /> 12 WHEREAS, additional legislative action is required to <br /> 13 facilitate the program and establish the terms under which the <br /> 14 program will be conducted in the City of Everett , <br /> 15 <br /> 16 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Section 1 : The Mayor is hereby authorized <br /> to hire the following exempt employees <br /> 19 for the City of Everett to staff the <br /> Everett Housing Rehabilitation Program: <br /> 20 <br /> Classification Title Range No. Salary <br /> 21 Municipal Intern/ <br /> 22 Housing Program Analyst <br /> Planner E-12 1047 <br /> 23 Municipal Intern <br /> Housing Improvement Advisor E-12 1047 <br /> 24 Municipal Intern/ <br /> 25 Housing Finance Advisor E-12 1047 <br /> Municipal Intern/ <br /> 26 Housing Field Office <br /> Assistant E-12 700 <br /> 27 <br /> Section 2 : All persons employed by the City <br /> 28 of Everett under the classifications listed <br /> herein shall be considered the same as <br /> 29 CETA or PEP employees for purposes of com- <br /> pliance with the appropriate salary ordinance. <br /> 30 Their continued appointment with the City <br /> will be contingent on the continuation of <br /> 31 the Everett Housing Rehabilitation Program. <br /> 32 <br />
