ORDINANCE NO. Y/6 CC 76 AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington, providing for the issuance and sale of limited tax levy general obligation bonds of the City in the principal amount of $460,000 for the purpose of providing funds for construction of swimming pool facilities and a golf driving range within the City, and amending Ordinance No. 236-73 and repealing Ordinance No. 409-76. WHEREAS , it is deemed necessary and advisable that the City of Everett, Wash- ington (hereinafter called the "City") , construct swimming pool facilities and a golf driving range within the City; and WHEREAS , in order to provide part of the money for such purposes it is deemed necessary and advisable that the City now issue and sell its limited tax levy general obligation bonds in the principal amount of $460 ,000. NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Everett, Washington, as follows: Section 1: By Ordinance No. 236-73, as amended by Ordinance No. 259-73 and 336-74 the City authorized the construction of a golf driving range at the Walter E . Hall Park. There is also authorized to be constructed and equipped a covered swimming pool facility at Forest Park , to consist of a main pool of approximately 5,000 square feet, a wading pool, bathhouse and necessary appurtenances and equipment. Section 2: For the purpose of providing the money necessary to pay part of the cost of constructing said golf driving range and swimming pool facilities , the City shall issue and sell its limited tax levy general obligation bonds in the principal amount of $460,000 (hereinafter called the "Bonds") . This section amends Ordinance No. 236-73, Section 2, which provided: "It is the intent of the City Council that the Council will authorize Revenue Bonds based on Projected Revenues of the facility." , by repealing said language.
