ORDINANCE NO. Y/6 CC 76 <br /> AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Everett, <br /> Washington, providing for the issuance and sale of <br /> limited tax levy general obligation bonds of the City <br /> in the principal amount of $460,000 for the purpose of <br /> providing funds for construction of swimming pool <br /> facilities and a golf driving range within the City, and <br /> amending Ordinance No. 236-73 and repealing Ordinance <br /> No. 409-76. <br /> WHEREAS , it is deemed necessary and advisable that the City of Everett, Wash- <br /> ington (hereinafter called the "City") , construct swimming pool facilities and a <br /> golf driving range within the City; and <br /> WHEREAS , in order to provide part of the money for such purposes it is deemed <br /> necessary and advisable that the City now issue and sell its limited tax levy general <br /> obligation bonds in the principal amount of $460 ,000. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Everett, Washington, as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1: By Ordinance No. 236-73, as amended by Ordinance No. 259-73 and <br /> 336-74 the City authorized the construction of a golf driving range at the Walter <br /> E . Hall Park. <br /> There is also authorized to be constructed and equipped a covered swimming <br /> pool facility at Forest Park , to consist of a main pool of approximately 5,000 square <br /> feet, a wading pool, bathhouse and necessary appurtenances and equipment. <br /> Section 2: For the purpose of providing the money necessary to pay part of <br /> the cost of constructing said golf driving range and swimming pool facilities , the <br /> City shall issue and sell its limited tax levy general obligation bonds in the principal <br /> amount of $460,000 (hereinafter called the "Bonds") . This section amends Ordinance <br /> No. 236-73, Section 2, which provided: "It is the intent of the City Council that the <br /> Council will authorize Revenue Bonds based on Projected Revenues of the facility." , <br /> by repealing said language. <br /> L <br />
