FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />-c4 ,AI{4-1-k <br />TO: File <br />FROM v PBrad Olson <br />� <br />DATE: September 22, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: FILE //II-B 15-93 <br />ADDITION & REMODEL OF COCOON HOUSE AT 2929 PINE STREET <br />Frank Marshall and I met with Frank Anderson and a representative from Cocoon House on <br />September 12, 1994 regarding the possibility of occupying the office/apartment portion of the facility <br />located at 2929 Pine Street. Cocoon House would like to house four people prior to the installation of <br />the sprinkler and alarm systems which were required in my comments to Planning dated September 7, <br />1993. It was determined at that meeting that permission to occuey the office/apartment portion of the <br />building would be granted provided the following conditions are met: <br />1. Occupancy shall be limited to the ground floor office/apartment portion of the building. <br />2. A 24-hour fire watch shall be provided by a Cocoon House representative. <br />Occupancy shall be limited to four (4) people and the Cocoon House representative on fire <br />watch. <br />A telephone shall be provided at the site for use in the event of an emergency. <br />Two 2-A:10-B:C fire extinguishers shall be installed prior to occupancy. <br />Single station smoke detectors shall be installed prior to occupancy. <br />A telephone call shall be placed to the Fire Marshal's Office (259-8726) to schedule an <br />inspection prior to occupying this building. <br />If further information is necessary, please call 259-8726 or 259-8710. <br />BO:lw <br />cc: Tim Tyler, Building Official <br />EVERETT FIRE DEPARTMENT • 2811 OaKes Ave. • Everett, WA 98201 • (206) 259-8709 • Fax (206) 259-8781 <br />
