The permit fee provisions of this law (RCW 90.48.465) are designed to <br /> fund Ecology's administration of the federal and state water quality wastewater <br /> pollution control regulatory program. <br /> As a result of this law,Ecology developed Chapter 173-224 WAC that establishes permit <br /> fees. This regulation was originally adopted in 1988 and undergoes an amendment <br /> every two years after public workshops and hearings are held around the state. Ecology <br /> last amended the fee regulation in November 2013. <br /> These permits have an effective date of June 2,2014. This letter is meant to inform you <br /> what the annual fee and permit fee category will be for the current state fiscal year(July <br /> 1,2013 through June 30,2014). <br /> Fee Category: Stormwater-General Permit Coverage <br /> Fee Subcategory: <5 acres disturbed area <br /> Disturbed Acres: 1.9 <br /> Annual Permit Fee: $543.00 <br /> Any permit issued after July 1 has had the fee prorated to the permit coverage date. An <br /> invoice is included on the left side of this permit information packet. <br />
