PROJECT OVERVIEW <br /> This document is intended to provide the engineering information necessary to support the <br /> building permit application for a new single family residence (SFR) and driveway in the City <br /> of Everett. The site covers 0.38 acres. The existing site is currently partially developed and <br /> contains lawn, some brush, and an old garage slab. The proposed disturbance area will <br /> cover approximately 8,987 sf. The proposed SFR will be set approximately 25 feet east of <br /> the western property line. Access to the new SFR will be taken from the proposed paved <br /> driveway which will take access from the existing roadway to the west (Chinook Dr). <br /> The parcel is currently partially developed and is surrounded by developed parcels to the <br /> north, south, and the east. There is an undeveloped parcel to the west of the property. The <br /> slope of the site in the area of the proposed SFR and driveway is moderate and averages <br /> approximately 11 percent down to the northeast. <br /> This development proposes to construct a new SFR with a paved driveway taking access <br /> off of Chinook Dr. The total new plus replaced impervious surfaces equal 3,678 sf (0.09 <br /> acres). <br /> Per Figure 1-2.4.1 (flow chart for determining requirements for new development), this <br /> project is subject to minimum requirements 1-5. The flow chart showing how we came to <br /> this conclusion is included in appendix A. <br /> Roof runoff from the SFR will be infiltrated by two infiltration trenches. All drainage <br /> improvements have been designed to meet or exceed the 2014 DOE Stormwater <br /> Management Manual with modifications and additions contained in the Design and <br /> Development Standards. <br /> The project location is 5109 Chinook Dr, in the City of Everett, and in Section 34, Township <br /> 29N, Range 4E.
