I do have some input for your design team regarding the proposed site improvements. Without getting into too much detail, please be advised that the City is interested in exploring an alternative that should make your project easier to implement, perhaps less costly while at the same time significantly reducing the impacts of wet weather drainage on the City's combined sewer system. The following are some highlights: • Assuming your drainage modeling determines that some new detention is needed, locate that new detention elsewhere—the 3.6 ac south parking lot is recommended. • OK to connect baseball field underdrain network directly to the city sewer without detention. • City and Everett Schools could partner to pay for and build the total detention volume needed for the 3.6 ac parking lot. • Cost sharing topic probably needs some discussion (Paul McKee). Recommend you proceed with your drainage modeling to quantify detention volumes, but don't spend time trying to locate detention facilities on the baseball field site. David Voigt, P.E.
