• <br /> Nailing at All Existing T1-11 Plywood Siding and Faux Stucco Plywood Substrate— <br /> Contractor shall field verify existing nailing to meet the following minimum requirements. Where <br /> existing nailing does not meet these requirements, additional nailing shall be added. The <br /> minimum acceptable attachment will be 8d Common at 6"on centers along sheet edges and 12" <br /> on centers at intermediate supports. Where nailing is 4" on center (or less) at panel edges, all <br /> edge nailing at that wall segment shall have matching edge nailing. Where T1-11 sheets abut <br /> on a stud, both sheets will be nailed. <br /> In the case where existing T1-11 or substrate plywood is damaged and requires replacement, <br /> new plywood of matching thickness will be provided and nailed to the above stated minimum <br /> requirements or match existing spacing whichever is less. Some care and judgement will need <br /> to be exercised when installing new nailing to avoid existing plumbing or electrical lines in the <br /> walls. Where it can be determined that blocking between studs exists, field nailing shall be <br /> installed. <br />
