to better infiltrate the flow from the driveway and houses. The driveway pavement will
slope to a catch basin in the driveway and the catch basin will drain to a 21'x2'x2'
infiltration trench. The house downspouts will drain to a 561f x 2' x 2' infiltration trench.
The site is located on Parcel 00495800701003. The site address is to be determined
This project will pave 2,226sf of existing brush and ivy with pavement or roofs The
project proposes to construct a new 1,838sf Single Family Residence and a 699sf
driveway. See site plan.
Section 3 Existing Site Condtion
The site is currently vacant and covered with grass and ivy with some trees. The soils
are sandy. There is a steep slope going down to the east of the site. The alley serving the
site is gravel. No offsite flows appear to enter the site.
Section 4 Adjacent Areas
To the north and east of this site is the Pacific Northwest Traction Company Right of
Way and Substation,to the south is Lot 2 which will also be developed into a SFR and
another SFR and Lowel Road. To the west is the gravel alley and a single family home.
Section 5 Critical Areas
There is a steep slope to the north and east of the site.
Section 6 Soil
Per the SCS Soil Map the soils in this area are Alderwood(5)with moderate erodibility
but the Anstey Engineering Soil investigation found the soils to be medium sands.
Section 7 Potential Erosion Possibility
As the site is moderately to steeply sloped there is some possibility of erosion. However
this is a small site with limited clearing and pervious soils so there should not be enough
surface water to cause any significant erosion. The silt fence, mulching exposed soil, and
proper construction methods should prevent erosion from occurring on the site.
Section 8 Construction Phasing
This is a small project and will be done in one phase.
Section 9 Construction Schedule
Construction will start this summer as soon as permits are obtained and should be
complete by this winter.
Section 10 Financial Ownership
Richard Vaisvila will have ownership of this project.
Section 11 Engineering Calculations
Due to the small size of this project no Engineering Calculations are required
Section 12 Responsible Person
The person responsible for this project is: Richard Vaisvila richardvaisvila(a,comcast.net
Phone: 425-299-1739
