I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> shall include, but not be limited to, any cover measures, runoff control measures, soil and <br /> site stabilization measures, silt fencing as shown on the Plans, and inlet protection <br /> measures for the work area and downstream areas. <br /> The TESC measures shall limit the erosion possibility by covering disturbed soils, <br /> preventing sloughing or raveling of cut and natural slopes, and controlling surface runoff <br /> from flowing into excavations using measures such as curbs, berms, dikes, rock-lined <br /> ditches, and other approved measures. Filter fabric fence shall be used to treat small <br /> areas of non-concentrated runoff prior to discharge from the site. <br /> Bid Item 11 - Saw-Cutting Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Final Joint Cut, Up To 6-Inch <br /> Thickness <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF) <br /> Measurement for saw-cutting will be per linear foot along the true length of the surface cut. <br /> The unit price per lineal foot for the final saw-cuffing of asphalt concrete pavement, up to 6- <br /> inch thickness, shall be full compensation for all labor, material, tools, and equipment <br /> necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as specified in Section 2-02.3(3) of the <br /> Standard Specifications, these Special Provisions and as shown on the Plans. The unit <br /> price per lineal foot for the final saw-cutting of asphalt concrete pavement, up to 6-inch <br /> thickness includes, but is not limited to, the saw-cutting necessary for the final joint <br /> between existing pavement and permanent HMA pavement. <br /> Include cost of cleanup by vacuum collection and disposal of the cuttings slurry with this bid <br /> item as there will be no separate payment for cleanup. <br /> Bid Item 12 - Saw-Cutting Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Final Joint Cut, Additional 1- <br /> Inch Thickness <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF) <br /> Measurement for saw-cutting will be per linear foot along the true length of the surface cut. <br /> The unit price per lineal foot for the final saw-cutting of asphalt concrete pavement, for each <br /> full 1-inch depth beyond the initial 6-inch thickness, shall be full compensation for all labor, <br /> material, tools, and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as specified in <br /> Section 2-02.3(3) of the Standard Specifications, these Special Provisions and as shown <br /> on the Plans.
