CITY <br /> AMENDMENT NO.2 <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> (ADVOCACY SERVICES) <br /> This Amendment No. 2 is dated for reference purposes January 1, 2019. It is by <br /> and between the City of Everett, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of <br /> Washington ("City") and Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County ("Service <br /> Provider"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The City and Service Provider are parties to the Professional Services <br /> Agreement dated January 23, 2017, as amended(the "Agreement"), under which Service <br /> Provider provided limited advocacy services in Everett Municipal Court for victims of <br /> domestic violence in 2017. <br /> B. The City and the Service Provider desire to amend the Agreement so that <br /> Service Provider will also provide advocacy services during calendar year 2019. <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> The City and Service Provider agree as follows: <br /> 1. The Agreement is modified so that the expiration of the Agreement is December <br /> 31,2019. <br /> 2. Section 4 of the Agreement as amended is further modified by adding the <br /> underlined phrase as set forth below: <br /> Compensation. Total compensation, including all services and expenses, <br /> shall not exceed a maximum of Twenty-five Hundred Dollars ($2500.00) <br /> in 2017. Total compensation, including all services and expenses, shall <br /> not exceed a maximum of Twenty-five Hundred Dollars (2500.00) in <br /> 2018. Total compensation, including all services and expenses, shall not <br /> exceed a maximum of Twenty-five Hundred Dollars(2500.00)in 2019. <br /> 3. Regardless of the date(s) on which this Amendment is signed by the parties, the <br /> parties agree that the Agreement has been continuously in effect since January 23, <br /> 2017. <br /> 4. All provisions in the Agreement shall remain in effect except as expressly <br /> modified by this Amendment. <br />
