I
September 9, 2010
Chun-sheng Wang
7533 Lower Ridge Road
Everett, WA 98203
Project address: 7533 Lower Ridge Road
Investigation Number: W1001-003
INSPECTION REPORT
Property Owners;
On 8/24/10 an investigation was made at the property noted above in response to a
complaint. The investigation revealed that the building had a second dwelling unit
created in a previously unfinished crawispace.
The attached report denotes issues that were found to be out of compliance within the
building based on non-destructive investigations. It is important to note however that not
all of the possible deficiencies in the building were or could have been found based on
these limited inspections. This unit is not legal to occupy until all required permit final
approvals have been secured._Prior to applying for permits, the Planning Department
must be contacted to ascertain any land use or zoning requirements applicable to the
project. Planning staff may be contacted at (425)257-8731 or in person at the Permit
Services Center at 3200 Cedar Street. Land use approval will be required prior to the
intake of any plans for permit review.
To apply for construction permits plans must be prepared and submitted that show the
structure complies with the minimum codes, clearly depict the extent of the work
completed without permits, outline newly proposed work and rectify the code
deficiencies present in the building. It is the owners responsibility to ensure that the
building comply with the minimum state and city codes - it is highly recommended that
the services of professionals be secured to help with the preparation of plans and
determination of code deficiencies.
The required inspections will begin at the rough-in phase. All rough-in inspections
(framing, plumbing, mechanical and electrical)must be approved prior to requesting a
