Please review and respond to the comments <br /> below. Plan review will resume when the requested information is submitted. All required submittals must be <br /> of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed structures will be constructed in compliance <br /> with all adopted codes, with two sets of drawings submitted for revisions. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. Please provide the weight of all new signs (including individual letters) submitted for permit. <br /> 2. Please provide stamped engineering calculations by a Washington State Licensed engineer and <br /> stamped drawings detailing how the sign and sign awnings will be supported to resist forces from code <br /> wind, gravity and seismic loading, per IBC 1603.1. <br /> 3. Please provide section details and notes that identify type of sign attachment, including length and <br /> size, the overall number of attachments, and dimensioned depth of the attachment into the specific <br /> type of wall construction that will be supporting the sign. <br /> 4. Please include elevations indicating the location of attachments on the sign (or individual letters). The <br /> spacing of the attachments should not exceed 4'-0", as a general rule, and at minimum be located at <br /> the top and bottom of the sign channel or letters. <br /> Upon resubmittal of the drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review will recommence. <br /> Applicable codes include the 2012 International Building Code (IBC) and the 2012 International Fire Code <br /> (IFC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. Revisions or additions may <br /> be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning, or Fire).
